An update
The “how does she not know!” mystery
Hey folks,
Thought I would address the “how does Jennie not know about Hanson at my wedding” mystery again, as we seem to have picked up a few new followers who seem a little confused (understandably)
Jennie is a Hanson fan; that is to say she listens to their albums and loves their music.
She got into their music through me, this was not her childhood favourite band.
She doesn’t go online to see what Hanson have been up to, and gets all her Hanson news from me. I lied to her and said they had sold out of tickets for 5of5 AND the November tour, then secretly went without her, (which in the long run I am sure she will appreciate!)
Jennie doesn’t really use a computer to do anything but shop and use Facebook, but she sometimes watches music on YouTube, mostly Hanson.
There have been a few times I have seen links to our stud on the side panel but she hasn’t noticed. A few times people have hinted about Hanson to her.
As far as I can tell (and I may never truly know…) she doesn’t know!
I understand how it sounds “far fetched” and maybe she found out and is trying to save my feelings by playing dumb, but I want to / have to believe she doesn’t know, because it will be all the more sweeter!
So in the unlikely event that Jennie is reading this, please don’t tell me, and If she isn’t, long may ignorance be bliss until July 28th.

So here we are.
You’ve heard the news. You’ve watched that video. You’ve had a little cry and punched the sky with joy. This is it. We did it. Hanson At My Wedding Honeymoon.
HAMW has always been about dreams. About dedication, hard work and believing that anything is possible. Sure Bish and Jennie get to go to Jamaica for the trip of a lifetime, but the real prize here is that we’ve succeeded.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved in the campaign. We honestly couldn’t have done this without you. You helped us show Hanson that this wasn’t just the dream of two unknown fans from England, but instead was the wish of people from all around the world.
There are too many people to thank individually and we’d hate to miss anyone out. However, a few names do come to mind – Mac Hanson (for the video and the constant encouragement), Iain Lee (for letting us onto your radio shows and genuinely believing in the campaign), Jennifer Chancellor (for writing about us in Hanson’s local newspaper), Deborah Moraiss (for getting us onto Brazilian television. Still amazing), Judd & his team (for being on our side and doing everything to help), Wheatus (for all of your support), BBC Radio Oxford, Chorley FM, www.iamstaggered.com, Digital Spy, Yahoo, The people who invented YouTube, and of course, Zac, Isaac and Taylor.
Not forgetting the Fansons we met on tour, those who have stuck with the videos since the beginning (including my Mum…hi Mum), everyone who has sent us comments, emails, tweets, photos and those who have helped promote the cause through blogs, Facebook, and forums. We’ve come across so many amazing people and really do appreciate all of your support. I’m glad that we all get a happy ending.
And finally, thank you to the people who told us to stop, the one’s who didn’t believe, who accused us of “manipulating” or even called us the worst people ever. You guys, you gave us someone to prove wrong. You pushed us to work harder. Thank you for not believing in us. You helped to keep us motivated. You’re the best.
I hope that you have enjoyed our story and that our efforts have inspired you. It’s your turn now. You can achieve anything you set your mind to. Whatever you want to do in life, go and do it. Give it everything you’ve got. Just don’t try and get Hanson to play at your wedding…two guys already did that one.
And yeah, I know that technically we didn’t get what we asked for, but some would argue that this outcome is even better. I know Bish would.
